Our client, Pink Palm Puff is a rapidly scaling international eCommerce brand seeking a strategic and operationally minded Chief Financial Officer to guide financial decision making and support sustainable growth across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to lead multi regional financial operations in a fast paced, digitally native, founder led environment while building the financial infrastructure required for global scale.
Reporting directly to the President, the Chief Financial Officer will lead global financial strategy and operations for Pink Palm Puff. The CFO will act as a trusted partner to the executive team, shaping financial direction, scaling systems and controls, and supporting aggressive growth initiatives across multiple markets.
This role is well suited to a proven finance leader with deep DTC and eCommerce experience, strong cross border expertise, and the ability to operate effectively within a creative, high growth organization.
• Lead Pink Palm Puff’s global financial strategy, supporting rapid growth and long term scalability across Canada, the United States, and Europe
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the President and executive team, providing financial insight to inform key business decisions
• Own forecasting, scenario modeling, and long range planning across all entities and regions
• Oversee all financial operations for Canadian and U.S. entities, ensuring compliance with CRA, IRS, and sales tax requirements
• Manage cross border finance, including transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, cash flow optimization, and foreign exchange risk
• Lead consolidated financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, and establish strong monthly close and reporting processes
• Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and financial institutions
• Drive budgeting, cost management, and operational finance in partnership with operations, inventory, and logistics teams
• Support capital strategy initiatives, including fundraising, financial modeling, and board level reporting
• Build, mentor, and lead a high performing finance, accounting, and compliance team
• Own and scale the finance technology stack, including ERP implementation and eCommerce integrations such as Shopify Plus
• Implement and strengthen internal controls and scalable financial processes to support global expansion
• CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation required
• MBA considered a strong asset
• Ten or more years of progressive finance experience, including at least three years in a CFO or equivalent leadership role within a high growth DTC or eCommerce business
• Extensive experience managing U.S. subsidiaries and cross border financial operations
• Strong knowledge of multi entity accounting, financial modeling, and international tax, including EU considerations
• Experience supporting high volume eCommerce environments, with Shopify Plus and global logistics exposure highly valued
• Comfortable operating in fast paced, founder led, and creative organizations
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
