About the Role
Chai Lifeline Canada supports children and families facing chronic or life threatening illness. The Marketing Manager is a replacement role responsible for providing continuity and leadership across the organization’s marketing and communications function. This role plays a key part in strengthening awareness, engagement, and fundraising outcomes in support of Chai Lifeline Canada’s mission.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Marketing Manager works closely with cross functional teams, volunteers, and community partners to ensure messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with organizational priorities.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a small internal marketing team, providing guidance, feedback, and accountability
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies supporting awareness, fundraising, services, and volunteer engagement
- Plan, create, and manage a comprehensive content and social media calendar
- Develop clear, compelling copy and creative tailored to diverse audiences
- Manage and optimize paid digital campaigns across social and search platforms
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using key performance indicators and return on investment metrics
- Oversee content across digital platforms, including website and social media channels
- Collaborate with internal teams to support events, promotions, and communications initiatives
- Create print, presentation, and educational materials for internal and external audiences
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and influencers
- Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve impact
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of five years of experience in marketing or communications
- Post secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign management
- Proven copywriting and written communication skills
- Experience managing projects, timelines, and competing priorities
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience in nonprofit or community focused environments is considered an asset
- Familiarity with social media management platforms, digital advertising tools, email marketing systems, and content management systems
- Comfort working with diverse teams, volunteers, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Jewish community values is considered an asset
