Director, Building Campaign (Fundraising) - Hybrid (Flexible) North York, ON, Canada

We are partnering with Chai Lifeline Canada to recruit a Director of Building Campaign (Fundraising) to lead a transformational initiative.

For 18 years, Chai Lifeline Canada has supported children and families living with chronic or life-threatening illness. The organization is now launching a $10 million Building Campaign to expand its facilities and deepen its impact for families across the community.

This is a senior-level opportunity to design, lead, and deliver a multi-year fundraising campaign with direct access to leadership support and organizational resources.

The Director of Building Campaign (Fundraising) will oversee the strategy, execution, and relationship development needed to achieve a $10 million fundraising target over the next 3–5 years. The role reports directly to the Executive Director and will play a critical role in shaping Chai Lifeline Canada’s future.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy to meet fundraising goals  
• Identify and secure new major donors and philanthropic partners 
• Build and maintain strong donor relationships through consistent communication and stewardship 
• Lead creative fundraising initiatives that engage the community and highlight the organization’s mission 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance campaign objectives 
• Provide updates and insights to the Executive Director and board members
   

• Demonstrated success in major gift fundraising and campaign leadership 
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills 
• Deep understanding of donor engagement and philanthropic networks
